This section of the Website aims to outline and describe how members of the public are able to enforce debt and other judgments of the Royal and Magistrate's Courts.
The main duty of HM Sheriff and the enforcement officers is the enforcement of judgments made by the Royal Court and Magistrate's Court. These Judgments are recorded by way of an Act of Court and once a request for enforcement has been received and the relevant fee paid then enforcement action may proceed.
